Orroroo Settler's Trail
The Orroroo Settler’s Trail project was launched in 2023 to tell many of the stories, promote the culture and vibrancy, and celebrate the characters associated with the district’s history.
The trail meanders along the main street of Orroroo and centres around The Woolshed, which houses the Black Rock Station Woolpress display.
Along the trail are five stories that combine interpretive signage and digital components. Each story focusses on a theme that has been integral to the history of European settlement in the district. We invite you to explore each of the stories featured on the trail:
