Each year, South Australia comes together to honour the unsung heroes who make our state a better place to live.
About the Awards: The Awards are a tribute to the incredible achievements and contributions of outstanding individuals who work tirelessly within our communities. They may often go unnoticed, but their impact is immeasurable, shaping the social and cultural fabric of our communities.
Categories:
1.Citizen of the Year Award: Recognizing the most outstanding Citizen in the DCOC local government area.
2.Young Citizen of the Year Award: Celebrating the most outstanding Young Citizen for the DCOC local government area.
3.Community Event of the Year Award: Honouring a person or group who has staged the most exceptional community event in the past calendar year.

*Nominations open: 18 September 2023
*Nominations close: Friday 17 November 2023
