Supplementary Election Administration – Primary Returns

By way of Supplementary Election Crs Clarke and Jesser were elected to Council on 23 September 2025.
Section 65 of the Local Government Act 1999 (the Act) requires that each member must, within six weeks after election or appointment, submit to the CEO a Primary Return in accordance with Schedule 3 of the Act.
As a result of an Administrative oversight, the members were not alerted to the same, and upon being advised, immediately submitted their Primary Returns to the CEO on Monday 25 May 2026.
These Returns now form part of the Council’s Register of Interests for the purposes of section 68 of the Act.
