Public Consultation - Eurelia Rail Shed
Council has recently received notification via the Department for Environment & Water that an expression of interest has been made from the Farina Restoration Society to dismantle and relocate the ‘old rail shed’ at Eurelia to Farina to store an old steam engine.
The site is owned by Crown Lands and the shed is not heritage listed.
Council consultation is now open on the possible relocation of the Eurelia Rail Shed. The community is requested to provide feedback via email / written submission to the Council on council@orroroo.sa.gov.au by 12 noon Friday 19th January 2024.
Any submissions will be provided to the Department for Environment & Water and considered at the next Council meeting to be held on 24th January 2024. It is relevant to note that Council is not the decision maker in relation to this item of consultation.
