COUNCIL 'OPEN' NIGHT

5.30pm – 7.30pm  Tuesday March 23rd 2021, Orroroo Memorial Hall

This year has been a particularly busy time for Council, in the delivery of Council’s Business Plan as well as flood recovery works, externally funded projects and a number of major infrastructure projects.

Council’s “OPEN” night is intended to engage the community in all of Council’s achievements to date including works remaining in the 2020/21 Financial Year, upcoming future projects, Council’s resourcing and approach to service delivery, emerging priorities and issues affecting the community.

In the lead up to the routine development of Council’s Business Plan and Budget, the ‘OPEN’ night is also viewed as a great touch-point for our community. The informal setting will provide individuals with the opportunity to have a chat with Councillors and key staff alike about what they consider to be important issues for the coming year.

The ‘OPEN’ night will be held as a two hour drop-in session at the Orroroo Memorial Hall, with elected members, admin staff and works and engineering staff in attendance.

Displays will be set-up for the public to explore and ask questions of staff and of elected members as they go. Light refreshments will be provided.

All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!
