Orroroo Christmas Pageant 2022

The Community Event of the Year Award has been awarded to the Orroroo Christmas Pageant 2022.

The Pageant, held on Friday 23^rd December 2022, was a fantastic event that included the entire community with an amazing number of floats for a small community. The main street of Orroroo came alive with floats filling both sides of the road and there was plenty for the kids with a bouncy castle and face-painting and of course Father Christmas making an appearance. The street was buzzing with local businesses staying open and local clubs providing various options for food and drinks during the evening.

The Pageant brings the community of Orroroo together as well as welcoming people from the greater region and drawing ex-locals home for the holiday season.

Returning after Covid cancellation the previous year, the hands-on organising committee of Shane & Anna Hooper, Michelle Kuerschner & Karlee Dohnt were able to bring the community together with some Christmas cheer.
