ORROROO CARRIETON TO FAREWELL CEO

The District Council of Orroroo Carrieton CEO Dylan Strong has given notice of his resignation.

After more than three years with Orroroo Carrieton, Dylan submitted his resignation to Council at a special meeting held Friday 28th January 2022 after accepting a new role with a Riverland Council.

Mayor Kathie Bowman said Council reluctantly accepted Mr Strong’s resignation, however are very supportive of Dylan advancing his career.

“Dylan has made some extraordinary achievements for the Orroroo Carrieton community in his time with Council and I congratulate Dylan on an exemplary term.

“He is widely respected by all his staff and those others who have an association with him. On behalf of the Councillors, I thank him for his service and wish him every success with his new role”, Mayor Bowman said.

Mr Strong said he will reflect on his time with Council fondly.

“The Orroroo Carrieton district is such a special place and I’ve been so fortunate to work with the wonderful and hardworking staff, Councillors and community here.

“I am very thankful for the amazing people who have supported me and I know the Council team will continue to do outstanding work for and with the community,” said Mr Strong.

Council has engaged an executive recruitment consultant and will begin the search for a new CEO immediately.
